Walter McGuire’s 30-year career across Indigenous health, housing and education has been gathered in a variety of government, non-government and community programs and organisations. His unique resume of cultural involvements and employment in the Aboriginal sector combined with qualifications in Training (Cert IV TAA) and Indigenous Community Management and Development, render him an excellent choice for delivery of cultural awareness training in diverse contexts.

Walter is the Noongar member of this workshop facilitation team of two with wife Meg McGuire.

Meg McGuire is a Kungarakan woman whose traditional lands lie in the Northern Territory. Hers is a familiar face in the Noongar community. Meg's work involvement include Aboriginal community engagement roles in employment, education, health and policy in urban, rural and remote areas of Western Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia.

Meg's Aboriginality, university education and expertise combine to make her an invaluable member of this dynamic team. Meg is a firm advocate for Aboriginal self-determination, management and governance.

Lucy is the eldest daughter of Walter and Meg McGuire. Lucy has been working full time with the family business since Go Cultural's beginnings in April 2016. Now managing bookings, social media and events, Lucy assists with most aspects of business operations.

Lucy's broad experience in administration, banking, mentoring and Aboriginal community engagement equip her very well for the high demands of our business involvements and activities across Perth.

Lucy with her sister Ilona are also founding members of Djoogan Keeninyerra traditional dance troupe.
